NFL worlds shocked by linebacker Micah Parsons’ weird decision

Linebacker Micah Parsons stunned the entire NFL world with a weird decision.

Micah Parsons is a big name when it comes to NFL. After being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he becomes the fan’s attention by showing his impressive skills on the field. He is considered one of the best dominant defensive ends in the entire league. But this time he enters the season with a different mindset by changing the way of playing.

Micah Parsons celebrating

This week, linebacker Micah Parsons announced pretty weird news that he will no longer want to focus on his sack total when he enters his third season in the league. Instead, he’ll just be focusing on his overall impact on the game by the defensive side of the football.

“I’m kinda off the sack wave. I’m onto the impact wave,” Parsons said according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. “You see Aaron Donald. He can have 12 sacks, but the impact he makes is so dominant. You can tell. I really just want to be dominant. And then you see guys who have 16-17 sacks, but they’re not considered a guy. I want to be a guy, not one of the guys. You feel me? . . . I’m not chasing for something. I’m trying to achieve and be greater than someone who is chasing.”

It’s a big decision for any player who made an impressive career in the league. Although, this Micah Parsons is one of the top players who is always in demand.

However, the NFL world shares their thoughts on Micah Parsons’ big decision.

Sounds like an excuse for not being able to produce sacks like Watt Bosa Reddick Jones lol, A fan replied.

Maybe it is just because he isn’t good enough to lead the league in sacks? He only really plays one or two plays per four downs, another fan said.

However, it is a risky decision but we’ll see how helpful this is for Micah Parsons in the future.
