The post said:

“The #Cowboys have released Takk McKinley.”

“The former Falcons 1st-round pick was signed to the practice squad last season but his reunion with Dan Quinn didn’t stick, the team having recently signed former 2nd-round pick Ben Banogu to the roster.”

The Cowboys signed McKinley to the team’s practice squad last November but he never played a single game for the team. The team decided to bring McKinley back on a one-year deal back in March.

A big reason why McKinley was brought in was his connection to the defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in the hope that he could get some juice out of him. Meanwhile, McKinley has become a victim of the numbers game on the team.

However, the team Dallas Cowboys have recently on June 7, 2023, signed former Indianapolis Colts’ running back, Ben Banogu to the roster. He was born in Nigeria and drafted by the Colts in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Banogu started playing football at Louisiana-Monroe and TCU. He earned two-time First-team All-Big honors in 2017 and 2018. He was also named the Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year in 2017.

In his Professional career, Banogu recorded a half-sack in his first debut match against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has also brought down Deshaun Watson for a sack.

Hope, Ben Banogu will perform well and give his best to the team. What do you think of him? Tell us in the comment.
