Brittany Mahomes shared shocking message amid ongoing drama
The wife of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes shared some cryptic messages on her Instagram.
Brittany shared the quotes amid Jackson Mahomes’ sexual battery case. Jackson Mahomes is her brother-in-law.
Jackson Mahomes Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother was arrested on May 3 and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and an additional count of misdemeanor battery following an alleged incident at an Overland Park bar in February.
Jackson was accused of assault by a restaurant owner and a waiter in March 2023. He was accused of by the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, “forcibly kissing me out of nowhere”. As per the reports, he “grabbed (the owner) by the throat, forcing her head back and kissed her and put his tongue in her mouth” three times without her consent and then told her not to tell anyone”.
According to New York Post, Brittany Mahomes shared, “As you get older you start to understand the difference between friends and associates, family and blood, business and work, love and lust, want and need. And most of all what’s important and what’s not”.
Another slide says, “Unfortunately, a lot of y’all met me when I lacked boundaries and was a people pleaser. Let me reintroduce myself, I burn bridges as needed.”
She also added, “Sheesh” with a clapping hands emoji in her post.
Both Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have yet to publicly address the assault charges against Jackson case.
Jackson Mahomes’ lawyer Brandan Davies said his client “has done nothing wrong”.
“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses,” his attorney Brandan said.
Recently Brittany Mahomes defended Jackson during an Instagram Q&A in April when one user asked: “How do you feel about the comments about your BIL?”
“They are ignorant,” Brittany said.
“He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s–t about him.
“So it’s best to just shut up.”
