According to Wikipedia Kalil Pimpleton is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He was born on December 9, 1998. His school was Muskegon and his college was Central Michigan. He played college football at Central Michigan and was an undrafted free agent from the 2022 NFL Draft.

He signed with Virginia Tech after high school and played 4 games in 2017 before transferring to Central Michigan, where he played from 2019 to 2021. He was awarded MAC Special Teams Player of the Year honors in 2021 and was a first-team All-MAC wide receiver. On April 30, 2022, Pimpleton was signed by the Detroit Lions after going undrafted.

Despite spending the entire regular season on the Giants’ practice squad, Pimpleton has yet to make his NFL debut. The undrafted rookie out of Central Michigan is still looking to make his NFL debut.

During his three years of play with the Chippewas, Pimpleton was a speedster who twice earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors as a wideout in 2019 and 2021. Pimpleton’s name is recorded in the Chippewas record books as he ranks eighth for career receptions and sixth for his 2019 season performance, where he caught 82 passes.

He led the team in receptions twice during his time at CMU. He is an undrafted free agent from 2022 looking for a great opportunity. This NFL draft may be a great chance and opportunity for him to make a great professional career.

Career 

In 2016, Kalil Pimpleton helped lead Muskegon to a 12–2 record and an appearance in the state championship game. He was awarded the Muskegon Chronicle Offensive Player of the Year twice in a row in 2015 and 2016.

Pimpleton played five games for Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2018 when he transferred to Central Michigan. In 2019, Kalil earned first-team All-MAC honors as a wide receiver and punt returner and played in 14 games. He was later named team captain and had 82 catches for a record 894 yards and six touchdowns.

Kalil continued to demonstrate good skills and as result in 2020, he was named Second Team All-MAC at wide receiver and recognized on the Phil Steel All-MAC Team as both a wide receiver and punt returner.

His unique talent made him lead CMU with 26 receptions for 277 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 16 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns. He finished 2021 with career-best receiving yards and first in scrimmage yards, while also having his most productive year as a returner.

His small size does not come in the way of his agility and quickness as he has built himself into it, but his quickness makes him more effective in the open field. Kalil Pimpleton is a dynamic punt returner who can also be used as a gadget slot receiver. With pace and finesse, Pimpleton uses his abilities to out-maneuver defenders as he makes dangerous runs and maneuvers down the field.
